Many possibilities: Kids in the age groups are expected to get 5-7 respiratory illnesses/yr to age 5. They tend to cluster in the winter months. They can also drain because of exposure to smoke or other irritants, or develop allergies. A few will have selective immune deficiency to iga, which is relatively benign except for the extra uri's.
