Oxycodone and Naprox: Adequate pain control often requires multiple medications. Oxycodone is often combined with anti-inflammatory agents as naproxen. Taking 2 agents with different modes of action gives better results with lower side effects. There is another agent that combines both these agents in one pill, oxycontin. Be careful not to confuse the two. Make sure your pain is being managed by a pain specialist.
