No, the reverse.: Ms plaques can act as a source for seizure activity, both focal and diffuse. Treatment similar to those without ms. But here might avoid the seizure complication by using potent disease modifying agents such as Gilenya or tysabri (natalizumab).

Causes of MS: There are several factors that may cause MS, and we may not know what all of them are! As far as we know, seizures are not a cause of MS. Most people with MS (about 98%) never have a seizure in their life.
