Shingles & SZ: Prednisone does not normally cause seizure symptoms. What were your symptoms? It is not likely this was a seizure, although about 2% of people with MS may have a seizure, independent of prednisone. It would be a good idea to bring this up with your medical provider. Shingles could occur in the setting of prednisone. This may be uncomfortable, you may wish to treat it with some soothing cream.

See your neurologist: Things are clearly getting out of control. I presume you had a recent relapse, and now have had complication of shingles, and increased MS symptomatology in spite of methylprednisolone. You do NOT list an MS disease modifying agent. Is this an omission? It is critical that you take such a medication to gain some control over your MS.
