Likely not: If you have thrush secondary to hiv, that insinuates a significant level of immune suppression already. It would be highly unlikely for that level to be present without a positive HIV elisa. Thrush is also adherent to the rest of your mouth as well, and not just your tongue. If it is thrush, it is more likely secondary to recent antibiotic use.

Tongue : White material on your tongue can certainly be a candida fungal infection-common on both HIV after antibiotic or inhaler steroid use; could also be a plaque-coating or cigarette damage. If blood test HIV negative, chances are good but not perfect that you are not infected with the virus. Try a tongue scraper and rinse with a good antimicrobial mouthwash. See your dentist for evaluation.
