A member asked:

Use 1 drop of travatan at night for glaucoma. usually put in eye at 7:30 but if out may be 2-3 hrs. later than that. is that alright to do?

Yes it is: Any medication in general works best if used at the same time every day, however, if you occasionally need to use the drop at a different time, that is ok. The important part is using the drop every day to control the glaucoma.

Yes: As long as you take the travatan at around the same time on most days, it's ok. 2-3 hours later on a few days isn't going to make much difference. Just make sure you don't take a shower or put any other drops in your eyes for at least 10 minutes afterward. You should also consider taking the travatan just before you go to bed, which is the usual regimen.
