Spot?: The best way to be sure is to showit to her dentist. It is most likely part of the normal anatomy of the tooth.

Probably normal: Most likely, the little point you see is what we call a 'mamelon'. Brand new front adult teeth that have just erupted generally have three little bumps or points on them which are a result of the normal formation of the teeth. They usually wear down over time. If it is a single point, or very sharp, see your dentist to have it evaluated.
