Been taking atenolol 12.5mg for 3 weeks. doc said to stop. will there be withdrawal? when will leave my system? took 1 today at 7:30am

Yes: It takes a couple of days for it to be completely out of your system. Not sure why you started and are stopping it. When you stop it you might get a rebound of high blood pressure and heart rate but should not have any major effects as the dose is low. The more important question is why you took it.

Depends on why taken: It is a low dose, so less likely, but some of the symptoms for which it was given may arise again. Would speak to your doctor re this.
