Possibly: Torn meniscus, arthritis, bursitis etc. Follow up with your orthopedic specialist for an accurate assessment. Xray and/or MRI of the knee would confirm the dx. You may take nsaids and heat application would work for now. Avoid strenuous exercise esp strenuous exercise, jumping or running etc best wishes!

Damage inside the kn: It is possible to do damage to the ligaments or cartilage inside your knee. If your knee is locking or giving way, it may be necessary to get an mri.
