Gallbladder: Cholecystectomy is typically very well tolerated without complications. Rare complications can include bile duct injury or liver injury. May have some diarrhea after the procedure.

Really nothing: If your operation goes well. And laparoscopic cholecystectomy almost always go well, with discharge same day or following day. You will have minimal incisional pain for a few days. A small percentage of patients will have colicky pain for a few weeks, but these go away too as your body adjusts.
