Make some collagen!: To treat acne scars you want to get the dermis generating as much collagen as possible to "fill in" the scars and smooth the skin. Retin a (tretinoin) used in small doses on a regular basis can get the skin to do this. Stimulating treatments such as microneedling and resurfacing lasers such as the erbium or co2 can be helpful. Injection of dermal fillers will often elevate and smooth out scars as well.
