Is there a thyroid medicine that does not cause bone loss?

At correct dose- all: When you say thyroid medicine, i assume you mean the ones for hypothyroidism. At doses that keep your levels normal, levothyroxine of any brand will not cause bone loss.

BRAND NAME T4: If you take brand name T4 and keep your level normal by taking the right dose, you will only lose the normal amount of bone. Women lose bone normally throughout their post-puberty lives, and lose an increasing amount at the time of menopause. Remain active, and insure normal intake of calcium and vitamin d -- and avoid toxins (alcohol, tobacco, steroids, etc) that lead to bone loss.
