Various possibilitie: There's always potential lab error. Morning determinations are generally most accurate. Tsh is secreted episodically and can vary from one time to the next, also, if you have had a recent bout of thyroiditis, your labs can vary over time. Did they draw any other thyroid tests like free t4? Reheck you level in the future.
