I have had a kidney stone that is 2mm for the last five months is that ok?

Not serious: A 2 mm kidney stone should not be a serious problem. Even if it drops into your ureter, you will pass it very shortly. The important thing is to try to prevent further stone formation. Your urologist can advise you.

Yes: A 2 mm stone is tiny, and should have no trouble passing. As long as you are not experiencing back or flank pain, or severe abdominal pain, the tiny stone is not of concern. Do ask your doctor why this stone developed, and if you have any more on x-ray or ultrasound.
