I was told a cyst on my left kidney grew 11mm over the last 5yrs. should this need to be removed, is that painful? can it cause stones?

Investigate: Usually if it is a "simple cyst" (i.e. With no signs of cancer), and does not hurt or cause bleeding or uti, a cyst does not need to be removed and can be watched with serial imaging over time.
