Last year ctscan showed stone in left kidney of 1.2cm, this year ctscan (different location) 12mm x14mm. is it bigger? best procedure to have?

Get it treated: 1.2 CM = 12 mm so I would say it is the same size. You should get this treated either with shockwave lithotripsy or ureteroscopy. Glad to talk with you about the relative merits of either approach.
