Lips stay chapped chapstick doesn't seem to be much help. drink plenty of water. what's the best product to use? why do they stay chapped?

Use vasoline: Is your mouth dry as well? If yes, you could have another problem which is causing you to become dehydrated. It is possible that your blood sugar is elevated or some medications that you are taking are making your mucous membranes very dry. See your doctor. Vasoline petroleum jelly is very effective.

Chapped lips: R u taking any meds/supplements that might have drying effect (like vitamin a/derivatives)? Perhaps u unconsciously lick your lips frequently, especially if u use a flavored chapstick. Harsh weather (wind/sun/cold) can also dry out lips. Glossy lipstick, unflavored lip balm, petroleum jelly, aloe vera & vitamin e ointment r common remedies; use products with spf factor.
