Might be lip eczema: Persistent chapped lips might be lip eczema, which can be treated like skin eczema, using hydrocortisone plus Vaseline or Aquaphor to retain moisture. Sometimes, lipsticks or lip sunscreen chemicals are causing an allergic reaction on the lips. Other times, a person is a primary lip-licker (it's her habit). Once cracked, lips get irritated by some foods and juices. A doctor can sort things out.

Every morning as i wake up my mouth is very dry. I drink lots of water. nd past few days, my lips swell when i wake up.I drink lemon water 2 times.
White gunk on corner of both side of lips. I've been noticing past few days, after talking a lot or chewing gum for a few hours. Also I do not consume or drink much water, mainly soda.
