Bio

Dr Skluth is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College with honors in history. She received a Ph.D from Columbia Univeristy Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in modern European intellectual history.She decided that she was not destined for life as a college professor and returned to school to fulfill her destiny as a primary care physician for adults graduating from Einstein in 1986. She completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. As a board certified internists with added qualifications in geriatrics,she has served in many leadership positions in the Norwalk medical community. In the past several years, she has developed expertise in integrative medicine and nutrition in addition to her focus on womens health, diabetes, cardiovascular disease. Since 1997 she has been Chief of the Section of General Internal Medicine at Norwalk Hospital. She is associate medical director of Connecticut Hospice. She is a founding member and program Co-Chair of the Women's Medical Association of Fairfield County. She has been listed in Castle Connolly's guide, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area since 2000. In 2011 she was also named a Top Doctor by US News and World Reports.
