Spur: That spur is there in reaction to over stretching of plantar ligament attached just inside calcaneus. The becomes inflammed at attachment( enthesiopathies ) then calcified literally keep ligament from pulling off bone. Besides insoles there are stretching exercises, sometimes injections, rarely surgery. Consult physical therapist or dr.
