Healthy is healthy: Pregnant women should eat the same healthy foods and do the same moderate intense exercise as all women. This should include lots of green vegetables to get folate, (folic acid) fruits, nuts, beans, seeds, whole grains, and wild salmon. Just remember you are eating for two so make sure you eat plenty and avoid the usual unhealthy processed and fried foods.

Yes: If you are obese eating healthy and exercise may result in a healthy weight loss. Moderation and good food selection are key.
