Munchies: Both of these medications can give you the munchies. You didn't mention if you binge eat before or after you take these medications. Neither of these is fda approved as a sleep medication. Saphris (asenapine) is an atypical antipsychotic approved for bipolar disorder and schizophrenia - not insomnia. I would make sure I have a clear understanding from your doctor about your exact diagnoses and your rx.
