Stomach virus: The average kid will have 2-3 viral illnesses that cause vomiting and or diarrhea/yr to the age of 5.Most are caused by a group of enteroviruses along with other strains. Their main problem is the risk of dehydration if the kid cannot keep up with his/her fluid needs.
