TUMT: Transurethral ultrasound microwave therapy for BPH initially causes a good deal of swelling in the prostate before any actual tissue shrinkage occurs. Although it typically does not result in a great deal of prostatic shrinkage, there may be a noticeable benefit yet to come.

Still early: You likely have swelling of the urethral and surrounding tissues causing a difficulty in passing urine. You did not mention your bladder function preoperatively. If you had severe difficulty passing your urine prior to surgery it may take months to improve. Follow up with your surgeon. Continue catheterization if you are unable to spontaneously void. Your medications seem appropriate.
