Multiple Sclerosis: People with appropriate therapy and good compliance and follow up care can lead entirely normal, productive and full lives. There is no benefit trying to determine when your timeclock will expire. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/pmh0001747/.

Probably normal : Studies prior to effective meds, suggested potential of 8 fewer years of life, but a recent study using betaseron, (interferon beta 1b) suggested a likelihood of full lifespan if appropriate treatement is employed. So, with potent effective therapy which is well-tolerated, you should do fine. Just ascertain that you are on the correct medicine, and, in this day and age, the older injectables are rapidly replaced.
