A member asked:

How can low thyroid affect my 12 week pregnancy? what can i do to not have low thyroid. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be a risk: If your thyroid level is low, talk to your doctor immediately about beginning replacement and following the level over time. Make sure you're dealing with a low "thyroid level" rather than a low "tsh" which is not uncommon during early pregnancy and often normalizes without intervention.
