A member asked:

Do people with thyroid problems have difficult pregnancies with complications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be: If you've had a prior thyroid problem, make sure your thyroid has been returned to normal before you attempt to get pregnant. Then it's just as if you didn't have a problem. The one exception is rare anti-fertility antibodies from hashimoto's thyroiditis, but they can check for those and treat if necessary.
