Im 23. a few months ago i found what i think is a cyst on my right ovary. slight discomfort here and there but nothing major. should i be concerned?

It depends: It depends on the size, whether it is clear or complex. Functional cyst or hormonal cyst comes and goes cyclically in all women during their menstrual life. This is usually a clear cyst and only 2-3 cm in diameter and resolves after period. If it persists, enlarges or is complex it is not considered normal and needs follow up with a physician.
