Is this the problem?: One of the first things that should be determined is whether or not this bony lesion has anything to do with what's wrong with your sister. If it does, it's likely she needs a neurosurgery consult. I would have hoped the radiologist would offer a few possible causes of this type of bone lesion in the report from which you quoted.
