Call the service: I would certainly contact his doc & see about doing some followup studies. Intussusception is unusual at that age & i would wonder if there is some issue triggering it.

Questionable DX: I am not aware of spontaneous resolution of intussusception. Abdominal pain of intermittent nature over 10 days and his age do not fit well to the diagnosis. He certainly needs reevaluation.

See a ped surgeon: You should see a pediatric surgeon because an intussusception in a 10 year old ususally is caused by a "lead point" in the intestine which has to be identified and removed, otherwise the intussusception will keep recurring.
