Wide range.: There is a wide range of sarcoidosis. For some patients, it is just something they know by name, but don't have to think about. For others, it can be a source of continued medical attention. Hard to say what the future holds for you without a complete evaluation.

Depends: Sarcoid can affect many different parts of the body. The more serious effects of sarcoidosis can cause problems with the lungs, joints, and eyes. Patients with severe lung disease tend to have the worst problems of sarcoid. If sarcoid only affects the skin or causes only mild arthritis the disease may not be that serious. Eye involvement also can be very serious. You may need to diff. Specialists.
