Likely miscarriage: The half-life (time it takes for half of substance to disappear) of HCG is somewhere between 24-36 hours. Since your level is declining, miscarriage is likely. It dropped slower than the expected 1/2 in 24-36 hours because some of the cells in the placement are still alive and thus producing some hcg, albeit declining. Please consult doc for care.
