A member asked:

How many ounces of formula should i be giving my 1 month 3week old baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A very rough...: ...Guideline is about three ounces per pound per day. So a 10lb baby might be expected to eat about 30oz per day. This is not a rule, it's a guideline. If your baby won't take more than 22oz and is growing normally, that's fine. If your baby requires 40oz otherwise she screams and cries, as long as she's growing normally, that's fine too.
