Not if one time: The usual mixing instructions are 2 ounces of water (60 mL) for 1 scoop of powdered formula. If that is the case, it means we are short 2 ounces of water in this case. A baby should not notice that little of a difference. If worried, a parent can add an extra half-ounce of water to each of the next 4 feedings, and that will make up for the 2 ounces of water missed. No worries.
