Possible: Stroke in the parietal and occipital regions can both affect your vision. The effect is usually visual fields. Right occipital stroke affect left visual field. Each eye has left & right visual fields. Diplopia is more of a eye muscle cordination from cranial nerves & is more of a brainstem stroke, but it is conceivable that depth/length perception problem can cause one to feels double vision.
