Amyloid: Likely no suggestion of impending alzheimers, as cause of whatever the MRI was done for. Need to follow up with the doctor who ordered the test.

Amyloid angiopathy?: Not sure if they are referring to amyloid angiopathy? This is an entity that usually occurs in elderly patients. It may lead to subcortical bleeds. This occurs because there is the abnormal deposition of amyloid in the walls of the vessels. Mri can demonstrate evidence of these as prior bleeds. Patches of hyperintensity may refer to small areas of prior stroke.
