A member asked:

Hi i have hashimoto disease. will this cause a low b12 level or a high white blood count?

No and yes: Won't affect B12 unless your thyroid level is low. Can cause transient elevation if white blood cell count, but it is not common.

Neither: They are independent of your thyroid problem.

Hashimoto's thyroid: In the absence of another autoimmune disease, such as pernicious anemia, there should not be any B12 problem. Regarding the high white count, it cannot be explained only by hashimoto's thyroiditis.

No: Hashimotos will not directly lower your B12 level or elevate your white count.
