Many cause: If you have itching without a rash many causes are possible. It could from dry skin to other more serious conditions. You should have this checked out with your physician. Most of the time allergies are not the cause of itching without a rash.

Try antihistamines: If the itch persists despite trying any of the antihistamines such as diphenhydramine, loratadine, fexofenadine, ceterizine, than consider seeing a physician to further evaluate the cause.
