What is pcod and what precaution should be taken?

An enzyme deficiency: Some women are born with an enzyme deficiency which prevents them from ovulating regularly. As a result, an egg begins to develop but doesn't release from the ovary causing a cyst with most cycles...Ie poly cystic ovaries. Most women who have regular periods don't have polycystic ovary disease. Women who do, ften have irregular period, acne weight gain and haie growth or cominations of the above.
