Not the cysts : Pcos is a hormonal imbalance in which you have an ovulation problem and you produce too much male hormone. The cystic in the name comes from the fact that there are lots of follicles which don't develop properly and look like little cysts. The cysts are not the problem. The hormone imbalance can affect your fertility and cause other problems.
