Winter: Does this only happen in the winter? Do you feel stress in your throat and tongue while you run? I personally have found that drying my mouth tissues out can be quite painful and annoying. But if you haven't experienced this pain before then it would be appropriate to visit an ENT to definitively diagnose. The tongue is the strongest organ in the body(metaphorically). Feel better soon!
