Water Pik: If a water pik was invented before dental floss, patients would most likely never hear the words dental floss. Water pik to great around braces too.

Floss threader: Floss threader is like a little plastic needle with an eyelet to make it easier to "thread" floss under your braces. The sonicare air floss is another helpful adjunct that is a bit less messy compared to the waterpik.

Waterpik or similar: If you find it too complicated to floss with braces, buy a Waterpik (it's just a brand name with tons of alternatives at your local Walmart, walgreens, cvs, costo, amazon, ebay, etc). It makes it way more easier to clean up around brackets. It doesn't beat a good flossing, but something is better than nothing :)
