SEE YOUR DENTIST: Teeth get yellowed by age, diet, medications and plaque. Cavities are result of chemical destruction by acid. Acid comes from your gut (gerd), plaque (bacteria convert sugar into acid) and diet (think: lemonade, carbonated and energy drinks). Dental cleanings and Fluoride will hlep to limit decay, but brushing does not prevent cavities if the diet is high in sugar and/or acid. Check medication too.

Wrong assumption: You assume because you brush your teeth that the cannot stain.. That's just not true. Coffee, tea, and other foods can impart stains which are absorbed into the enamel and cannot be removed by simple brushing. Speak to your dentist about professional whitening procedures that can whiten your teeth.
