Great question...: You can get a very nice job from either a general dentist or a prosthodontist. I would check their online reviews. I would also ask anyone you know who may have a partial denture. Good luck with your search.

A Prosthodontist: A prosthodontist’s intensive training is rigorous; far beyond the standard norms of the general dental degree. Their expertise in restorative treatment and their day-to-day experience in practice touches every conceivable challenge in delivering smiles with high-level function, maximum comfort, and pristine esthetics. They are the experts of removable and fixed tooth replacements.

GD or Prosthodontist: Any well qualified general dentist or prosthodontist should be able to fabricate well designed partial dentures. Prosthodontists have more training in this area & some patients may therefore prefer seeing a specialist. I would also strongly recommend that you consider implant retained teeth rather than a removable partial denture. Discuss all your options before settling on partial.
