Denture adhesive: If the clasps ar not holding your partial in place see your dentist to have them tightened. Do not try this on your own. You can use denture adhesive as a temporary measure until your appointment. Implants are a way to replace a partial or help to anchor it in place.

See your dentist: Lower partial dentures by definition are replacing some but not all the lower teeth. A well made lower partial denture will stay in place because it fits well, because the saliva forms a surface tension attraction to the teeth and gums tissue, and because of retention on remaining teeth with clasps, clips, and possibly on implants. You should see your dentist if you are having difficulties . Dr neil mcleod dds dentistry that lasts - quality that counts.

Implants: Best option is 2 or more implants with attachments for snapping them in place. An adjustment of the borders might prove helpful as well. Without implants, you must train the muscles of the jaw and mouth (tongue included) to hug the dentures to help hold them in place.

Clasps: Partial dentures are held in place either by metal clasps that hook onto the surrounding teeth or attachment mechanisms that are made as part of crowns on teeth bordering the toothless spaces.
