Probably not: Your mouth has changed in five years since the dentures were made. They will most likely not fit properly, and hurt if you try to put them in and wear them.

Safe. yes. Fit, ???: No reason to be concerned about safety, but they may not fit. See a dentist for an evaluation. If the fit is poor, they might be able to be relined to fit better.

Probably not: Do not even try. Your mouth has changed since then and you risk damaging the tissue and bone. See your prosthodontist to evaluate you and bring these along. They will explain your options. They are the experts in this treatment.
