See your dentist: There are a number of causes for bleeding and painful gums ( gingiva), with poor oral hygiene being a major reason. I recommend that you make an appointment with a dentist asap.

Treatment for this problem is not diy, so you need to have the cause of your problem determined by a local periodontist. After you have been treated, your periodontist will advise you on how to maintain your newfound healthy mouth.
