Probably not: There is a hereditary component but would be unlikely to present this way. You may want to get MRI if concerned.

Glioblastoma: There are no hereditary links for glioblastoma other than a couple of very rare syndromes. So you pain is very unlikely to be related to a glioblastoma.

Do not worry: You almost certainly do not have a brain tumor, but likely possess a migraine variant, consistant with ice pick variant headaches. Meds are available to control and eliminate these. See your doctor. Sorry about your dad, as these types of tumors are horrendous.

My dad had a GBM: And we mark his death 30 years ago on tuesday 3/26. No family history before or after in this anecdote. More importantly, there is no scientific link. Go with your dad to an appointment and ask. See a neurologist - sounds more like cluster than migraine.

Unlikely: Most cases of gbm are not genetic and are rather congenital. You may have migraines and it would be best to see a neurologist for further evaluation.
