Acne: There are different types of acne, comedonal and inflammatory. Depending on the type of acne you are having will determine which treatment will be best. Sometimes topical over the counter medication will help like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acids. Other time prescription medications will be needed. If over the counter topicals are not helpful, see your dermatologist.
