2-3 months: Tghere are many different types of fractures of the sacrum some require surgery and some do not . Fractures of the sacrum that are directly in line with the weight bearing portion of uor sacrum may require surgery but id=f they are displaced but stable they only require altered weight bearing (crutches) ct scan helps determine which is which along with the mechanism of injury (high or low energy.
